2000 items. Total weight over 3 tons. Recorded contribution at AmCham Shanghai E-waste Drive

On August 26, the ninth annual e-waste drive co-organised by AmCham Shanghai and Netspring Green IT program was successfully completed. The number of contributed items we collected in both Shanghai and Suzhou have once again surpassed that of the pass year. In Shanghai we collected a total of 1400 items and the total weight was more than two tons. In Suzhou we collected over 600 items and the total weight was over one ton. We would like to thank all the participating companies for their generosity and enthusiasm. Over the past 9 years, Netspring has worked with AmCham Shanghai to raise awareness about the environment. Transforming e-waste into resources for education is a meaningful way to give back to the community. We have been offering higher-quality education to children in underprivileged communities and areas by providing access to digital technology.
Netspring needs your support to turn all these contributions into useful tools for students in remote schools. Through refurbished computers students will be opened to a whole new world of knowledge and knowledge changes destiny.
