On the occasion of Earth Day 2025, Netspring will once again collaborate with the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (AmCham Shanghai) to launch this year's E-waste Drive events. The events will take place respectively at the AmCham Shanghai Suzhou Center on Tuesday, April 22nd, and at the AmCham Shanghai office on Friday, April 25th.
We sincerely welcome all members AND non-members of the AmCham Shanghai to drop off your obsolete computers and electronics on April 25 between 10:00 am and 4:30 pm at Floor 27 of the AmCham Shanghai Infinitus Office (No. 168 Hubin Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai). Participants will receive a certificate of appreciation on-site for their contributions.
All collected electronic items will be used to support Netspring Green IT Programs, aiming to build Green IT classrooms for schools and communities in need, and make them become important digital tools to provide learning opportunities for those people who have strong demand. Devices that are not recyclable or reusable will be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
Items which can be contributed:
• Computers, laptops, hard drives and AC adapters (all computers are welcome; those that still have a hard drive and a memory stick would make a greater impact)
• Monitors, keyboards, and computer mice
• Printers, scanners, and fax machines
• Cables, extension cords, adapters, USB sticks, plugs, and wires
• Cameras, mobile phones, etc.
• Other relevant electronic parts and accessories (except fluorescent tubes containing mercury)
