  • In 2018, we plan to continue developing digital inclusion with our Green IT Classroom programs for underprivileged children. We will also foster social and environmental innovation and forge stronger dialogues with partner organizations and academia. Continuously serving a special needs group, the Visually Impaired, also remains one of our priorities.

Thanks to all our supporters, past, present and future!

  • “Thanks to PwC and Netspring’s support. Because of you, children in remote rural areas like ours can also have access to computers just like children in town. The most important point is that computer classes can bring knowledge to children. Through learning and knowing of computers, children can acquire rich knowledge in an entertaining environment, such as searching information online as well as searching computer’s knowledge and so on. Also we are very touched that once our computers were out of function, they received timely maintenance and treatment. The existence of this classroom has great significance.”

  • “We were attracted by its innovative social enterprise business model, which would provide digital education to underprivileged children in China with recycled computers, thus fostering circular economy and creating positive social impact at the same time.”
Mr. Jean-Michel Vallin, Faurecia China President
  • In December, volunteers from Owens Corning along with Netspring team, went to Beijing suburb to carry out IT classes and outdoor activities with the students of Bozhi Primary School. What is more, by understanding the school’s difficult situation, Owens Corning intended to increase the size of the Green IT Classroom to ensure that students of each class can have IT class together.
  • On Nov 21st, Faurecia China in collaboration with Netspring team launched its 6th Green IT classroom in Weimin school in Zhong County, Chongqing, in the presence of Ms. Kathy Sun, Faurecia China Vice President of Human Resource. Faurecia Green IT Classroom Program started in 2013. • Netspring Dialogues With an Incredible Social Entrepreneur

  • On October 18th, Netspring team trained volunteers from Edwards to interact with children from Xuanqiao school in Shanghai city. On October 26th the volunteers gave IT classes where the children had the opportunity of designing a small animation on Powerpoint. This gave birth to creative animated stories such as a shark flying around the beach! On top of this, outdoor activities and games organized by the volunteers taught the children the importance of cooperation and competition with each other.
